Agreement with Hashemite University to empower students via training in child safety
JRF signs a cooperation agreement with The Hashemite University, launching a series of training and volunteering opportunities for the university’s education and social faculty students. The agreement was signed by JRF’s Director General Inaam Barrishi and Hashemite University President Dr Kamal Bani Hani. The agreement features a series of cooperation initiatives including field training and volunteer programs focusing on child education and psychology, in addition to joint scientific research programs. JRF will also be offering its accumulative experience and knowledge in child and family safety; training university students on issues pertaining to psychological treatment, family counseling services and case management.
Bani Hani stressed the importance of developing strategic partnerships between the university and JRF, capitalizing on the university’s expertise, skills, and solid track record in child and family protection. Meanwhile, Barrishi commended the long-term strategic partnership with the Hashemite University as part of JRF’s efforts to offer experiential learning training for higher education students, especially in the provision of psychological support services and engaging them in JRF’s 110 Helpline for Families & Children.
