RDPP Workshop Addresses Employment, Entrepreneurship Roadmaps
JRF has launched a two-day workshop addressing entrepreneurship and employment challenges and opportunities facing the foundation’s Community Empowerment program beneficiaries. Held in cooperation with The European Regional Development and Protection Programme (RDPP), the workshop was attended by Minister of Digital Economy and Entrepreneurship Ahmed Hanandeh, and addressed key issues facing Jordanians and refugees concerning entrepreneurship, employment and vocational training and the role of government and private sector institutions in leveraging the livelihoods of local communities within these key topics. The workshop is part of the RDPP-funded project: Resilience through Livelihood Support for Vulnerable Syrian Refugees and Host Communities across Jordan. The project has to date empowered over 800 beneficiaries through livelihood support and capacity building.
