“Ordun Mobtaker” Supports 13 Emerging Projects Following Qualification

AMMAN - Thirteen social innovation startups qualified yesterday to join the fifth series of Ordun Mobtaker program during a signing ceremony offering support and incubation agreements to help transform qualifiers into sustainable and productive initiatives.

Implemented in partnership with the UNICEF-funded Mobile Social Innovation Incubators, which is run by JRF in partnership with the Ministry of Youth, Ordun Mobtaker aims to leverage entrepreneurial projects addressing key social and economic challenges across local communities.

The signing ceremony was attended by Minister of Youth Mohammad Salameh Al Nabulsi, JRF’s Director General Enaam Barrishi, and Shairose Mawji, Deputy Representative, UNICEF Jordan.

“We’ve selected these projects out of 59 competitors following several screening stages. The ones qualified belong to a variety of sectors including agriculture, services, technology, and artificial intelligence,” points Areej Alyousef, JRF’s Social Innovation Project Manager. “Ordun Mobtaker targets and supports startups of all stages: those undergoing seed funding, to those seeking product development, networking and market entry training,” adds Alyousef.
