وقعت مؤسسة نهر الأردن وبنك الاتحاد تزامناً مع اليوم العالمي للمرأة اتفاقية شراكة لدعم برنامج "تصاميم نهر الأردن" التابع للمؤسسة ضمن مشروع خط إنتاج حرف يدوية جديد بالتعاون مع شركة "إيكيا"، حيث يعمل المشروع على توفير فرص عمل لسيدات المجتمع المحلي، بهدف الوصول إلى وتمكين أكثر من 400 سيدة خلال الأعوام الثلاثة القادمة.
The Jordan River Foundation (JRF) and Bank al Etihad signed a partnership agreement, coinciding with International Women’s Day, to support women artisans employed by the Foundation’s Jordan River Designs Program, which has recently launched a business partnership with IKEA to economically and socially empower women through the design and production of various handicraft collections, capturing Jordan’s artistic tradition and heritage. The business initiative between JRF and IKEA will offer jobs to 400 women artisans in the coming three years.
